A great time and service was amazing.
Great way to spend an evening with friends! A few caveats:
1. You absolutely have to book ahead of time. They are always full, even a week or two in advance.
2. You have to know your group size when you book or risk overpaying for a much bigger room than you need.
3. You have to know exactly how long you want to stay when you book; there's no option to extend your session because there's always another session booked right when yours ends.
So obviously you need a plan going in, but if you can make it work, Rock Box is super fun. They have a huge selection of songs and also have a YouTube integration so you can pull up anything your heart desires. They also offer in-room drink service (though it can be kind of disruptive to the party vibe since you have to turn the music way down to order).
Small space but karaoke yes!!! Loved the Sake Sangria but the Lychee Martini was straight up vodka…
Always amazing 👏
Awful customer experience. This place is fun if you have no reason to work with the staff on any reservation changes or policies. They have a strict cancelation policy, rightly so, however, there reservation I made 2 days before the actual reservation needed to be cancelled due to my party reporting back ill. I called the next day after learning about the recent change and I got no response. I called at least 3 times, then left a message, acknowledging the 24 hour cancelation policy and asking for a call back so I may talk with someone to work something out. Surely there is a timestamp on this rather quick turn around. The representative who called me back at 4:31pm told me that “technically this does violate our strict cancelation policy and I’d have to talk to my manager to see what we can do” after I explained that due to my party being sick, we need to cancel/reschedule. And when I asked if he could check with his manager he reported back that the manager doesn’t show up for another hour. So not only am I given no grace - seeing that it is unrealistic to expect customers with a 4pm reservation to cancel (should they need to) before 24 hours, not have customer service open for any after-hours issues, then not have your establishment open until 4pm - but how is it possible for an establishment to open without a manager onsite, not to mention, they won’t be onsite for another hour and a half. This representative repeatedly reminded me that I knew about this policy, as if to sound defensive. I am asking for your help, not blaming you for your company policy. Just because I had something come up last minute, should not mean that I am held accountable when I’m doing my best to hold up my end of the deal as far as understanding what the strict cancelation policy is. I got a call-back at 4:31pm… you’re telling me that your policy is so strict, you won’t allow a 30 min grace period… so to avoid this - future customers, I highly recommend that you DO NOT book any reservations for this place between 4-5:30pm because not only will you receive biased and inconsiderate customer service, but they will not answer their phone on time should you need to cancel, and there will not be a manager onsite for another hour and a half…
The staff here are very kind, but the location is not that nice. It could be nice for Seattle but I'm used to New York.
I frequent Rockbox a few times out of the year. It's always a good time and service is always spectacular. The drinks are good but pretty strong. Haven't eaten much here but the spam musubi is tasty! I love having private rooms!

Food was very expensive, so suggest eating before going. Everyone was really nice tho and the experience was fun and cute overall. Also the sake sangria was good.

Rock Box is my favorite karaoke place in Seattle. The cocktails are strong and they have a variety of private rooms to fit most any size of party. There is also karaoke in the front room where you can mingle with others without renting a room. Usually for a party of 5 to 8 each person with 3ish drinks and a 3 hour room rental will end up paying between 35 and 50 dollars which in Seattle is quite reasonable.

Not bad karaoke. Better service and prices than I'm used to for a private room. Good song selection but some of the songs had suboptimal mixing/audio.

Way better than before. The songs are updated, the drinks are decent. It's a nice time. My last review was years and years ago so it's nice to see that it's gotten better!
