Great location and very nice patio but the food doesn't excel. The recipes seem designed to be a little lighter and healthier than your standard taco joint but everything comes off kind of dry and the preparation is sub par. Everything seems slightly over cooked and like it has been sitting out for too long waiting for someone to buy it. My favorite thing on the menu is just the side of beans that comes with most meals which is simple but has the right amount of sauce...
What a wonderful spot to end the week on a Friday evening. I loved everything about Rocket Taco on Capital Hill. It’s in a great neighborhood off the busy part of Cap Hill. Such great neighborhood vibe and so relaxing especially on a beautiful summer evening. The outdoor seating is set so beautifully with all the beautiful and full plant life. The food was also so good. I had their mixed green salad. I loved the cheese and the yummy pepitas!! So so good!! Light and refreshing!!...
