We stumbled upon Rossellini’s while staying in Ballard and were so glad we did! I’m not sure how it never made it onto our radar while planning the trip, but it ended up being one of our favorite finds. The house-made syrups were fantastic! I had the caramel syrup in an iced coffee and it was delicious. The pastries were equally impressive. I tried a cheesy pastry that was incredible! If we’d discovered Rossellini’s earlier in our visit, we definitely would have stopped by multiple times. Highly recommend!
I love that I am always greeted with a smile, even when the line is around the block :-)

Very nice atmosphere, amazing sweet treats. I noticed they were very busy on my first visit to Seattle and finally got a chance to grab a little treat with my coffee. Amazing place!
This used to be a nice local bakery. It’s now overrun by people coming from other neighborhoods creating long lines. The service is super slow. They don’t notice or appear to care that their customers are waiting while they engage in conversations and take their time providing service.

Good pastries. Truly baffled that there's so frequently a line all the way down the block here -- nothing here is worth the wait
- Was very happy with the spiced fig cake I ordered here once
- The vanilla bean syrup is made in-house and has a nice flavor
- One of the only places where you can find a canelé
- Definitely skip the brioche and challah as they both have an odd flavor
Recommended dishes: Canelé

Great pastries, but coffee has not matched the same quality. Hope they can improve the coffee because the pastries really deserve a better pairing.

Amazing baked goods that start fresh being made in the veeerrry early morning same day. One of the best mocha's I've had in while. Worth the walk and probably a line!

What can I say other than I am addicted to the chocolate cake? We now come weekly for slices and I have contemplated buying an entire cake for myself 😬

Every time I’m in Seattle (which is like every 6 months) I come here every morning to eat their lovely selection! I’ve tried about everything on the menu, and let me just say that THIS IS THE BEST BAKERY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! I’ve had the matcha to the London fog, to the quiche to the chocolate mousse. Everything is a life changing, lively place that has a DELICIOUS display of food. I may sound crazy, but genuinely I think of this place 3 times per day and I honestly wish I lived in Seattle. So trust me, TRY THIS PLACE AND TRY IT EARLY IN THE MORNING! They run out very quickly and for good reason. Still don’t know how this place hasn’t gone viral yet… anyways GOOO
