I came here for the seahawks super bowl qualifying game - I was so impressed by how the staff ran this place on such a busy day, they were fair/transparent in communicating about wait times, calm, attentive, helpful and provided great service! food, drinks and atmosphere were all 10/10. also, appreciated them not over-crowding the place when they easily could have. thanks rough + tumble!!

So friendly and accommodating and the absolute best “bar” food I’ve ever had. The Bird chicken burger was phenomenal and the pork belly tacos were the best I’ve ever had. I will be coming back for sure!!

Came for a Torrent watch party and the turn out was awesome but it buried the kitchen. You could tell the team was overwhelmed but vibes stayed positive. Jenna was a Rockstar Server!!

Love the concept, but the execution of it just isn't great. The food isn't that tasty for the high price and the service is very minimal for a place that has servers. Although their whole deal is that they're a sports bar, they seem unable to handle the crowd that games bring. I went here to watch a game and waited almost two hours for the meal I ordered, which they didn't prepare the way I asked (vegetarian substitute), when they brought my partner's meal out within 30 minutes. Overall just disappointed.
This place is cool! All the women’s games you can find.

I live near this place and took my family for dinner. There were 4 bad things about our experience, 2 of them food related. 1) the poutine doesn’t have cheese curds as indicated by the menu and the waitstaff gaslit and dismissed us when we asked about the case of the missing curds. 2) Ordered corn tortillas on the tacos and it came out with flour tortillas. Not a huge deal but the person eating it has a gluten allergy and had to take medical action. 3) the bar/restaurant was maybe 30% full and the TV volume was on SO LOUD (like the kid at the table next to us has headphones on) so we asked if the volume could be turned down which was rudely responded to “we’re a sports bar…”. 4)The family I brought is midwestern and we like to make nice so as we were leaving my wife apologized for our complaining to which the busser said “we don’t have a problem with you guys, just her” indicating my mother, lead detective in the case of the missing curds. This place is not family friendly, the food was decent despite the errors, but the service was terrible. The waitstaff declined numerous opportunities to be nice human beings and were instead rude and unhelpful.

Rough & Tumble in Ballard is hands-down one of the best local supporter pubs you could ask for — and as an Everton pub, they always show up for us. The staff is incredibly friendly and consistently willing to open early so we can catch the match, no matter how early the kickoff. Today they rolled out the full breakfast menu, and the brekky tacos were absolutely spot-on: hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want with morning footy.
And while the match itself was rough (Everton, why do we do this to ourselves?), the boozy Penalty Kick coffee was exactly what the doctor ordered. Cold pressed and just the right amount of kick to take the sting off a bad result.
If you’re a footy fan — or just someone who appreciates a welcoming, well-run pub with great drinks and a solid breakfast — Rough & Tumble is the place. Always a great experience, even when the Toffees don’t cooperate. 🔵💙

I go here every now and then. I was there last night for PWHL opening night with my friend. The vibes were great, salad we got was also perfect! Towards the end, we had a random guy hitting on me and not leaving me alone, (as one would experience in a normal sports bar but not the most welcome for me) but the server came out of nowhere, and nicely and diplomatically got his attention away and made him pay his bill and sit down. I love this place even more and I’ll go again and again!!
A women’s sports bar? First of all, hell yeah. Second of all, the tater tots. I’ve told all my friends and family about these tots. They have a perfectly crisp exterior. The buffalo wings were delish, but truly can’t stop thinking about the tots. Excellent vibe all around with so many games to watch (including men’s NFL games, ew but ok). 10/10 recommend.

Love rough and tumble pub, not exclusionary like a lot of other sports bars. I love going there and getting nachos and playing bananagrams. There is plenty of seating and the servers are always super nice and helpful.
