Best sandwich I’ve had. Amazing staff and service. Plenty veggie options

These are the best subs in Seattle by far and everyone who works there is a little sweetie pie!
I selfishly wish they were open on Mondays!

Toasted subs on garlic bread?? Yes please!

This little shop is hidden in the very corner of an open plaza, behind the big Lennon statue in Freemont, so it might be easy to miss at first. It does take a little time for them to prepare your sandwich, which they're very up front with (I think it was about 5-8 minutes for me when the shop is empty). But it's totally worth it. Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful.

Pictured here is my favorite, the Itallian. The bread is so warm and fluffy. The crust is firm but not tough or hard to chew and brushed with garlic butter.

I always get my sandwich to go, though they do have outdoor seating in addition to their bar style counter inside. They always wrap it up nice and in foil so it's usually still nice and hot when I get home. Water is complementary, with some local hard cider and other beverage options.

They have the ability to take orders over the phone if you don't want to wait around, you can call ahead. I saw they have some sandwiches that can be adjusted to be vegetarian as well.

It’s almost 2 am, I’m ripping thee ole Pennifer Gardner, and I can’t stop thinking about their Italian. Truly a feat of Sandwich engineering. In my time between Seattle, New Orleans, and Boston I have never had a better Italian sandwich. This is a sandwich you write home to mom about.

Ordered the chicken pesto - definitely one of the better sandwiches I've had. Staff were friendly, bathroom was clean, water was cold, and the outdoor seating was lovely on the sunny day I visited.

Very nice outdoor seating. Staff was extremely friendly. They had lots of options for vegetarians and were very accommodating with customizations.

Some of the best sandwiches in the city. I have never seen them not busy. You will have to wait 10-15 minutes for your sandwich during peak time because these sandwiches are REGAL and take time to make. They have (canned/bottled) beer available as well. Seating is extremely limited inside, but there's more outdoor seating for when it's nice out. They have wifi available, password is posted near the register. The crew is awesome; very friendly and always seem happy to be feeding the masses, and they always have great tunes playing. I always try to give a little joy back to them by leaving a pun or dad joke at the bottom of our online order, and they always reciprocate :)

Small sandwich shop with delicious food.
Friendly staff promptly took my order and called me when it was done.
Maybe one of the best Italian sandwiches I’ve ever had.

The Italian grinder and pesto chicken are some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!

Had a great experience here. I got a sandwich to go, so I can’t speak to the seating or etc. The staff were so accommodating and sweet. I’m Muslim, so I don’t eat pork, and it was lovely the way they were willing to accommodate my food preferences + generally pickiness. The sandwich I got was delicious, reasonably priced, and very much worth the wait. I’ll be coming back here again.

The sandwich was good. But DEFINITELY NOT a panini. They don't offer what I would call a panini. And shockingly expensive. Damn near $20 for a mid sized sandwich and a cup of water. I felt like I got less than what I paid for.

A few indoor seats at a window bar and more outside, filtered water pump, and dog-friendly. The staff are lovely, really friendly folks, honestly can't hype them enough. The food is fine. Huge bread rolls that aren't particularly great but also not particularly terrible, absolutely average fillings, completely fine preparation. I don't think I'll go again simply because it was a solid whatever in a city full of fantastic options. My group got one standard (non-vegan) sandwich and one vegan one, both were equally mid.

I thought this was a good place. The service is really great & we didn’t have to wait too long. The sandwich (Italian) had the perfect vinegar ratio with all the pickled toppings, peppers, and such. I LOVED that it came toasted and was a reasonable size.

I feel like a lot of sandwich shops that I’ve been to take 40+ mins, but we got lucky going on a Sunday around 1:30pm. Not too much seating but enough to squeeze 2-3 folks. There’s outdoor seating which is probably better for the warmer weather. But a good vibe all around.

Also I might add that - even though the sandwich is a little pricey, it was even in flavor and size and worth the ~$16-$19. I didn’t feel robbed at all.
