We came here to watch a local jazz band play (the Wednesday club). It was a nice enough venue for that. Prepaid $25 each plus fees to see the band and then another $30+ each on food and beverage. The food was the weak spot, we chose to fish and chips because how bad can it be? The answer is pretty bad. Very thin fish fillets and overcooked. The food tasted like it came from Sysco, most options were grilled or deep fried. Typical pub fare but not even that well done for pub food. We did have a nice time watching the band with a lot of friends who converged here for the same reason. Dinner reservations get you a guaranteed table spot to watch the band from. Next time I might try eating at the pizza place next door and take my chances on seating for the band.

The royal room seattle: Just recently I tried their service and found it notably attentive and efficient. The staff managed the bustling dinner rush with calm professionalism - making the experience smooth and enjoyable. I left feeling well taken care of and would recommend it for anyone seeking reliable hospitality

Nice music venue in Columbia City. Went here for a show and their food menu is excellent. Wide variety of drinks and beers.

I love this place; ambience is good, drinks are good, they have an expansive wine menu & specialty cocktails; I’ve been there several times for shows & the acoustics are amazing, seating is amazing & even with the tables or booths its set up is theater style so great views of the stage from all angles; nice clean restrooms; amazing staff.

Meh, hooooooooorible service. Mid bands. Way too expensive for mud drinks, didn't like this place.

New owners treat local musicians very poorly, would not recommend that you book here.

The royal room never disappoints. I think they have music six days a week. I’ve seen national regional and local band bands there.
Sound has always been great. Services always been great. Food was always good.

Food was crazy bland. My partner had to add salt and she never adds salt to anything....
The live music and the atmosphere was FANTASTIC though. I loved it.

Lovely, intimate venue for a jazz show. It got a laid-back atmosphere. They also serve food and drinks, but I haven't tried much of their menu.
What a fantastic venue for local music. All ages until 10 p.m. We are so fortunate to have you!
$23-30, we had cocktails vs. beers.
I'd have to say, Seattle is much better off with The Royal Room in it. Yet, live music never gets going until AFTER Happy Hour, and/or I want to be home. It must be the traffic.
The Royal Room has started a free (no cover) Happy Hour in the outer bar area, 4-6. I saw an old guy trio, and had some impressive Yam Chip appetizer. Pints & Well Drinks at a decent price, and a casual place. We were't the youngest folks there, as one guy without any grey hair met his parents there. But, the acts that followed up were sure to pack in a few dozen.
OK, round 2. We, arrive at 5:09, and they take a break. We just could not plan any better than that, contractor and traffic. No issues.
Their singer is killing it with Dad jokes after songs. And, the Happy Hour tacos are VERY tasty, and almost as messy. My wife's yam chips came in handy as utensils for plate cleanup. Very fast turn around.
Great venue in Seattle's Hillman City. Wayne Horvitz with his ensemble was the draw this Monday and did not disappoint
