Went there for a blues event. The music was excellent. Service was good for the ratio. The food was mediocre. The po-boy tasted ok, but it and the fries came out barely warm. A po-boy is on french bread - not a sesame seed bun. That makes it a fish sandwich. The blackended catfish was good and came out hot. Go for the music and beers, eat beforehand elsewhere.

Food is nothing special, but the live music has to be some of the best in the PNW. Servers are friendly and unobtrusive. Plenty of room to dance, cool artwork, talented and knowledgeable sound mixing. We have been twice for salsa/Latin concerts and both times, the music was smokin

My favorite place for live, locally-sourced music in Seattle.

Interesting talent. Horribly overpriced food, $18 for a volunteer party luncheon burger. Cold, grainy beef, and one piece of lettuce and tomato. Cheese was $2 extra, and everything was so so dry.The server handed back the wrong credit card and gave ours to another table. With tip, the final charge was $60. Our bank statement came back as $62.33. Wouldn't be surprised if the waiters gave themselves an extra tip after reading other reviews.

The stars are for the excellent ambiance...music....lighting....vibe. Service was somewhat slow but very friendly. The food....overpriced and mediocre. Very expensive and not memorable or flavorful. Salad tasted taste like bagged romaine lettuce. Mac and cheese had little flavor. Cocktail hot toddy was weak. I wish they would up their food game for the prices charged. But the music was excellent :).

Food was delicious and well seasoned. Had the beef stew. Cocktail, mocktail, wine and beer were all great. Saw 3 great bands. The only criticism was the mix of a couple of the bands that could use some work. The headliner sounded good so that made up for it. Shockingly excellent service especially considering the staff to table ratio! The music was the main draw for my visit, but the mission of the backing non-profit, comfort of the venue, and accessibility made me want to sign up for their mailing list and return.Parking: Only on street parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly until 10pm. Exclusive of the bar, of course.

We were here in the afternoon for a kids rock band show. Fries: good. Desserts: terrible. Stick to the salty things I think.

We came with reservations for a show and waited around 20 minutes to get in. They sat us as far away from the stage as possible, with a giant post blocking the entire stage. They should never sit people so far away that the sound is so low quality that you might as well listen to it on CD. They also messed up our drinks three times, which was understandable because they only had one bartender serving a hundred or so people. The only thing that redeemes this place is the food, which was very good, especially the fries. But this can't save the poor service and even worse seating.
