Rubinstein Bagels was alright for a bagel. In my opinion it was definitely a more chewy bagel than I usually look for. Its located in the lobby of a what looks to be a apartment complex and there is really no parking available on the side of the road or in the complex. I got the everything bagel with onion cream cheese and the cream cheese tasted a little tangy. Overall I would say it was a 3 out 5 about average for everything. I would definitely prefer to drive up to Zylberscheteins for a better more tasty and lively experience.

$12+ Lox bagel with barely any lox. Can you guys be more generous?
Amazing place with great bagel options. The everything bagel was excellent, and the cream cheese was spot on. Prices are very reasonable for the location.

Great bagels. Questionable service.
I’ve been going here the last three years, and have always noticed there’s something about the service that doesn’t sit well with me .
I’ll keep going, but I hesitate sometimes because of this issue.
Einstein’s is much much worse with their customer service.
So, it’s the lesser of two evils. 🤦🏻♂️

First time here, perfect bagels, perfect (seriously delicious) coffee, excellent service, and a nice place to sit by the fire, but OMG the loud, seemingly A.I.-generated music on the speakers was enough to make me want to run out screaming. I don’t know if that’s a choice to save money on music licensing or to keep people from sitting too long in the lounge area, but the music was bad enough that I would plan on always getting my food to go in the future. Otherwise highly recommend!

Used to be decent but overpriced, now it’s the same price for way worse quality and service. The ingredients have changed and the attention to basics is not there. You can expect them to take forever, cut your bagels unevenly, and burn when toasting them. They just do not care. I live nearby and would rather walk a bit further to get bagels at Whole Foods than here.

Great bagels. Super slow service. Kinda sucks to be a slow joint in busy SLU.
