Saffron Spice Food Truck offers great portion sizes for the price, making it a perfect spot for lunch at Pike's Place. The lamb is super tender, and the butter chicken is very flavorful. The samosas are crispy and delicious, especially the beef and chicken samosas, which are easily one of the best things in the market. For approx $18, you get two sides of curries and one portion of rice. The veg box with palak saag and chickpea curry is a quick and decent option. The chai is really good.
The food smells amazing, and the service is quick. They are generous with the sauce and chutney, and the spice is on the milder side, but they’ll add extra chili oil if requested. A good spot for when you’re low on funds and looking for some comfort grub. This stall alone is worth the trip—add it to the must-try list.
