One of the best omakase in Seattle!! It’s given that most omakase places serve the same fish, sourced from the same places - but the cooked appetizers/kaiseki here were outstanding (I’d say better than any other omakase places). I usually do not enjoy cooked fish, but chef surprisingly changed my idea/taste on them! It was delicious - to the point where I enjoyed something I usually stray away from.

I also love that chef has options for the portion sizes...
Very traditional styled omakase. Their menu is even tailored to the matsuri celebrated each month. The plates are so pretty too! Majority of the ingredients sourced from Japan, and everything was seasoned well. I’d say the premium omakase set is incredibly good value. 6 guests per seating so overall a good and private experience.
If you’re introverted like me who just want to enjoy the good sushi without constantly having to talk to the sushi chef, this is the place...
I visited friends in Seattle and they decided to take me to SAI. They hadn’t been there before but heard it was great. We had the best time! There were three in our party and two in another party, so intimate. The kaiseki was fabulous and I tried several nigiri that I had never tried before. I highly recommend.
