This is the gold standard for banh mi in the Seattle Area. I've tried many different banh mi places across the west coast and Saigon Deli is still top 3, if not the #1 contender. Get the #2 and #1, a Vietnamese coffee, and one of the spring rolls with the fried egg roll crisp in the middle and pork on top, you won't regret it. Best enjoyed warm and fresh, growing up my friends and I would dig in as soon as we got it on the hood of our cars in the parking lot.

I been wanting to try this spot out. I heard many great thing about their food and mostly their Banh Mi Sandwiches! I finally came here one day for lunch. It was pretty busy, due to many locals workers around the area came here to get food and etc. I ordered 2 different sandwich, spring roll, and some Viet item. It was fast and the price is very affordable for lunch if you're on budget cut and etc. Now, the most important is the taste of the food! Turn out it didn't disappoint me at all. It was good and fair portion as well. The area is a little sketchy but doable to go in the day time. I guess it is one of the pretty authentic place in the area.

Their sandwiches are great. They have a variety of hot food, smoothies, and dessert. Their egg rolls and meatballs are tasty (maybe not the freshest). Their tapioca was plain and lacked sweetness. However, the reason why I gave them two stars is because I value customer service as a customer and someone who works with people. We arrived an hour after opening and I asked the the ladies how much their spring rolls were. Two of them didn't respond and the other one was extremely rude with her response. This was my second time going there and so far they've been rude each time.

$5 drinks on the sign but charges you $6 for Durian and Mango. Please update your sign of the price is not what you are charging. :/

This is my all-time favorite banh mi place. Used to eat here on a regular basis when I lived in Seattle.

Came here thinking there would be lots of ready to go food options here but that was not the case. There was only springrolls which I ended up getting. I looked at their menu to see if there was other food options besides banh mi and it didn't seem like their was. There was the food behind the counter but I did not know what some of them were and they didn't not look so appealing. I wish there was more signage as to what was available and what they could provide besides banh mi. It seemed like some people knew how to order other things that I did not see available. As for the spring roll itself. It didn't seem fresh. The wrap was semi hard upon eating it as well as old green veggies seemed to have been used. Overall was not a fan of here. Maybe I just came on the wrong day when everything seemed out.

I love banh cuon so when I saw they had it here, I had to try. The prices here are outrageously cheap! My partner and I got a banh Mi and three trays of banh cuon and it was only $17. The banh Mi had so much flavor and was stuffed, though the bread was a little too toasted for our preference and did cut up the roof of our mouth a little bit. I loved the banh cuon! I got the shrimp and pork ones, and the fillings were so good, and I definitely didn't need to order 3 trays. I was pretty full after eating just one and a half. Def recommend this spot for some quick eats especially for some great Vietnamese food that isn't pho!

I've been coming here for years. This has always been my go to spot for bahn mi but it's no longer my #1. I think for the price, it's still good but for a bit more, some other places have more meat in their filling. I feel like the bread to meat ratio is high but this is typical of bahn mi places. The grilled pork bahn mi is my go to but sometimes it can have too much mayo. I love the grab and go section of sweets, fresh rolls, etc. The hot food bar is good too for a quick lunch.

Was walking by the china town from Capitol Hill towards the SoDo Area on a beautiful sunny evening. Wanted to grab a quick bite while I was walking in Jackson. I found this establishment and looked at Yelp Reviews and walked right in to get a quick bite. They have a lot of options for Thai Bahn Mis. The prices are super cheap, I thought it was gonna be a cash only establishment, but they also take cards. The Price of around 5-6$. The lady in the counter was super sweet, she accepted our request to sample the BBQ Pork. We ordered the BBQ Pork Banh Mi to split between two people. The Bread used for the Sandwich tasted super fresh and had the crisp to it, they also added many vegetables with decent amount of BBQ Pork meat. I wouldn't say this is the best Banh Mi I had, but this was pretty decent for the price that I have invested and tasted good. They also have bunch of snacks that could be taken for To Go. This place looked like it is only for To-Go, don't think there is dine-in option. Overall experience was decent. If you don't mind grabbing a quick bite for To-Go which is a Good Banh Mi from a small establishment like this, this is definitely worth a try. They also seemed to have Fried Rice options.

The place looked sketchy but the service, people and food were fantastic. The lady at the counter let us sample some bbq pork and we loved it so hot the sandwich. The veggies in the sandwich were so fresh! It was so good! A definite spot I'll be hitting up again.

Currently the best sandwich. Real Vietnam flavor here. I always call ahead, so I don't have to wait in the line. Love love this place.

Sorry no photos! Got stuck on as soon as we got back in the car lol. This place came recommended and in true good food haunts it is not very fancy or even organised, when you walk I it's almost like you don't know where to look. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the grilled pork bahn mi and also the mixed ( number 3) and also a skewer of pork meatballs. Sandwiches were perfect, warm bread but crunchy, Mayo jalapeño cilantro pickled carrots and daikon and perfectly grilled lemongrass pork. The meatballs were the usual spongey/bouncy texture sweet and savoury. Perfect. Will def go back when my car is at the dealer close by!!!

*Little Saigon, CA #1 Foodie here* ‍ Stopped by Saigon Deli for some quick Viet to-go food when we landed in Seattle. I must say, this place is very comparable to the Viet eats we have back at home (Little Saigon, CA)! Will definitely go back if I'm ever in Seattle again. Honorable mentions: -There is private parking located on the side of building -They accept credit card

I'm never disappointed when I order a Bahn Mi from Saigon Deli. I'm willing to go out of my way to drive into ID just for their sandwiches as nothing compares in the East Side. Everytime I go there, they're always busy. You can't go wrong with the pricing too. All the sandwiches are under $5.50 including tax. My favorite is #3 with the combo meat and #1 with pork is good too. The bread and meat are all so tasty! One thing to be aware of is when you first walk in, there's no line system when you go to order. You will need to check who's up next and make sure to stay up front to give your order then move somewhere out of the way until they have your order ready to pay. I usually pay cash to avoid the $0.75 fee. Enjoy!

I've eaten banh mi all around the city over the years and this is the best one by far. I always go for the special or the meatball sub. Their desserts and rice dishes are good too. For $4, this is probably the cheapest, most delicious meal you'll find in 50 miles.
