You give a $10 bill and get $3-4 back with a sandwich. Not rocket science

My go to for Vietnamese deli foods. I always pick up a couple banh mi (#1 and #2, the cold cut option is my default pick) and banh cuon when I'm there. Go earlier in the day for any of the foods on the table because those will run out (banh cuon, spring rolls, etc). The honeycomb cake is also pretty tasty, as well as the steamed layer cake.

Have been getting sandwiches (specifically Banh Mi Cha Lua) here for 20 years now, and will always recommend it to anyone who wants a reasonably priced, consistently delicious banh mi sandwich.

SABER TOOTH

China town, hood classic deli. Watch out for people who might attack you on your way there, but you will soon realize it's worth the risk when you take one bite of that Vietnamese sandwich and boba 🔥

In my opinion, this place has the best grilled pork bahn mi in Seattle. I've been eating here for about 20 years. Google maps has been terribly confused about this place. It is at 1237 Jackson, just west of the intersection with Boren, on the south side of the street. It is NOT Saigon Vietnam Deli, which actually has an address on 12th Ave. It is NOT on Brooklyn Ave. Street View will show you this place's sign. They toast the tiny baguettes just before making the bahn mi, a crucial detail. I like to request the lumpy red sauce they keep behind the counter to be applied to my sandwich. You should try this place. It has been concealed for far too long. I suspect confusion rather than malfeasance or enmity as the cause of the long concealment. Do try this place. This place started out on 12th Ave, but after a few years moved around the corner to this location. I have had good food from the shrink-wrapped choices in front of the steam table, as well as from the steam table, so it is not just a sandwich shop.

i wanted to love it. but some of the pork in the banh mi was chewy and rubbery. and there was way too much mayo

their fresh rolls were delicious, but there was a piece of broken plastic inside one of the rolls. prices were good but i don’t think i’ll be back
