We popped in for a quick lunch while staying at the populus. Food was good but definitely overpriced for the quality. Overall a good option when staying here if you need a quick option. I will say staff and service was great. We got free glasses of rose and an on the house dessert since they didn't have the coffee cake that was on menu.
a perfect pacific northwest dinner. the local oysters were fresh and bright. the duck breast was cooked to perfection, accompanied by the picked red cabbage and warm hash brown. asparagus is flavourful with great texture. halibut was drenched in a dreamy butter sauce. sunsurfer tasted a little medicinal, but very summery. all the staff was so kind, speedy, and helpful; they deserve their flowers. the ambiance is absolutely gorgeous. i will return often!
