Edit: I think my original review doesn’t do the justice to this place so I’m updating it. This is an absolute best sushi place in Seattle. Sometimes I want sushi on Sunday and they are closed on Sunday which is the only reason I try sushi in other places. And every time I end up disappointed and regretting ordering from anywhere else, because nobody matches the quality of Sam’s sushi. Sam’s sushi are the best in the city.

Great little sushi spot and more. The atmosphere is amazing and the restaurant is very high quality. This is one of my favorite spots for sushi and katsu in Ballard. The katsu chicken is amazing and everything else is too. Would definitely recommend!

Great value for the price! Super casual spot for decent sushi. Very much a sports bar vibe going for it. Service was nice and fast. Nothing fancy or crazy about this spot. The food is mid but fairly priced for what it is. You’ll find all the regular sushi options here. Great for a casual and quick lunch or dinner. Great location as well, easy to get to and near the shops in Ballard.
