The burgers are decent but extremely overpriced. When ordering for delivery you are also forced to purchase a side and a drink. There are much better options in the area at more reasonable prices.

I dislike leaving reviews like this but sadly Scooters is not allergy friendly! I am extremely allergic to peanuts (anaphylactic shock) and I made it clear to the employees that I was very allergic when ordering a milkshake. They proceeded to tell me they understood. I came home and had some of my milkshake, and there was a hint of peanut butter in my Oreo milkshake. This resulted in me having an allergic reaction. This is so sad because the workers are very nice and I even tipped 20% because of how kind they were. The burger and fries ended up being good when I could finally eat them again, but I won’t be returning. If you have allergies, they are not trained properly/allergy safe so try at your own risk!!! It was a bummer way to end my Saturday night. :( Gave three stars for their kind demeanors and good burger.Dietary restrictions: If you have food allergies this place is not allergy friendly!!

Decent quick counter serve burger joint. They do also do chicken and other sandwiches! I had the burgers and they were good but a little on the dry side.

Chicken strips were very dry and not tasty. Burgers are very similar to burger king burgers. Fries were good.

First off, their fries are amazing and worth stopping in for alone if you're passing by. I've been here several times and the service is always nice and food delivery prompt. Giving it 3 stars because today I tried the chicken tenders for the first time, something I usually love and find hard for places to mess up, and they were inedible. I've never had tenders I couldn't eat before, I mean it's just fried chicken, but the quality of the meat was so poor. I've had other things here and they were decent but this was shockingly bad. Didn't even resemble chicken to be honest. Would hate to see what they look like in storage before they're cooked. Also keeping the rating a bit low is the price - a bit on the high side for a burger joint.

My goodness, it's a run down shack trying to charge 15+ dollars for a burger! We ended up walking out to find something, anything else.

A Seattle gem, Scooter's is a top notch burger joint. The menu is simple, the burgers (and other sandwiches) are excellent, and the shakes menu is always worth it. Highly recommend!

The food was tasty enoughand the service was great. The lady was right there in up front putting paint and plaster on the wall. But my concern is if you walk again and look at the environment and the state that the walls are in and the floor what does the back look like? How maintained has that been over the years?

I want to give this place 5 stars because I feel like it has a lot of potential. But I would realistically give it 2 stars at its current state but don't want to hurt their reputation with giving them that low of a score. Basically, I felt it was a little overpriced. Including tip it was over 18 dollars for a cheeseburger and medium drink. The ingredients were very fresh which I loved. The service was prompt and kind. I only waited for maybe 5 minutes for my food with being second in line. However I felt like the burger didn't have much added flavor, I felt like they let the ingredients do the heavy lifting which is refreshing in its own way, but it reminded me of a burger that we make at home on the BBQ. Which to some that may be an excellent thing! I also wouldn't eat inside which is where I feel most disappointed. It was cramped and had maintenance supplies out which didn't feel appropriate. I feel like this place needs some picnic tables outside possibly but not sure there's room for it with the parking lot. I'd try again but also don't know that I'd recommend it compared to other options in the area.

Great burgers, pretty bad crunchy over cooked fries, very overpriced. The bun on cheese is a good cheap menu item. I ordered the mushroom veggie burger, it tasted great but it was soooooo expensive. The bun on cheese is the saving grace of this place because it’s the only menu item that is priced appropriately for the qualityVegetarian options: pretty good vegetarian selection. multiple burgers, and two different grilled cheese options at different price points.

That was a damn fine burger and fries I just had. Big meat, thick bacon, fresh slice of jalapeño. Fries on point ?. I'd only say they should probably spruce the place up to survive a gentrified Ballard. I hate it but this isn't the same town it used to be.

As burger joints go, it is ok. Nothing great, and in my opinion, not worth the money. It is a decent burger, but come on, $13.14.

It's an older place, it's designed to get you in and out, you aren't there to impress a date, lol.You are there to get some really delicious inexpensive real food and that will do just fine. It isn't a franchised, industrialized behemoth. It's great while you're running around getting things done and great for the end of the day and need sustenance. It's great for relieving your childhood memories of burgers, shakes and fries and pretending it's not an indulgence because you're too old to run off all the calories and your cardiologist might kill you if they ever found out about your guilty pleasure. (Or join you)Everything in moderation. Right? I don't come here a lot, but I'm always happy I did.
