I really wanted to love this place - old-school Ballard vibe, but let me cut to the chase: The burger patties tasted like Costco frozen ones.
The atmosphere is good, the service is good enough, but the burger was disappointing. You could taste it was frozen. The fries were a little soggy/mushy.
For the money, there are much better burgers in the area - it was $40 for two people and there's a lot of competition in that range.
Won't be back.

Decent burger, a solid 5/10 but needed more seasoning for my taste. The bun is a bit too sweet and falls apart quickly … that said, the grilled onions were a nice touch (ordered a regular cheeseburger) and it was a good size tho a tad overpriced as well. Fries were nothing special, freezer crinkle fries so I’m gonna skip them next time … overall experience was OK, but I will most likely go to Five Guys next time, or Burgermaster if I’m close...

What a gem. Has a classic and cozy feel. Burgers, fries, shakes, everything we had was simple and delicious. Not the kind of thing I expected to find in Ballard but glad it's here, will be back
