great place great staff. However this cafe has become a hot bed for homeless activity. Almost daily Unhoused people are allowed to take off their shoes, lay down on the benches and literally sleep for hours while making every paid customer uncomfortable.
great coffee and pastries! but absolutely terrible service today from a male barista. he kept having an attitude asking me and the person in front of me to speak up (i get it, it's loud, but the way it was asked was so rude). then i asked what a certain puff pastry was and he said it was a biscuit (which... it clearly was not) and he kept insisting it was and seemed annoyed i even asked, or bothered to come in at all (which was the vibe for the baristas too as well tbh)....
Frustrating to order tea then have to practically beg the barista for milk and coffee to put in my tea.
Very odd to have no self-serve milk or sugar of any kind.
Edit: The barista told me I had to wait until they were done making a drink then never offered milk or sugar.
