We researched a few dinner spots and chose this one. We had the blueberry, prosciutto and taleghio pizza and the beet and fig salad. They were excellent! Perfect on the cook of the pizza, perfect on the salad, as in every bite had everything and the flavors were amazing. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere at the end of a beautiful day.

Never get me wrong, Serious Pie is one of our go-to spots since we live nearby, and usually it’s great — good food, good vibes, and solid service.

But one day we had a really strange experience.

It was during a slower time (around 3–6pm), and it felt like there were way too many servers just hanging around. A group of them stayed by the kitchen, called server station? folding napkins, chatting with each other, and avoiding eye contact with customers. They brought food when it came out but never checked in otherwise. We tried to flag someone down a few times but no luck.

Other tables around us had the same issue — people were waiting 15-20 minutes or more just to place an order, even though the restaurant was more than half empty. We wanted another drink but couldn’t get anyone’s attention.

Eventually we had to ask the bartender for our check (by the way, the bartender was awesome — super sweet and helpful). A server finally showed up, seemed kind of annoyed, handed us the payment machine without saying anything, and walked away. No “how was everything” or “thank you.” Honestly, for a place that suggests a 22% tip average, that was disappointing.

That said, Serious Pie is still one of our favorite restaurants we love their pizzas and salad, so we’ll give it another chance. But I’d probably avoid going during the slow hours, since the service seems to drop off when it’s not busy.

Great pizza, but not my favourite and not worth the premium in my opinion. I had the yukon potato pizza and it was quite different from a potato pizza in Korea. The crust was crispy, airy, and a little chewy too, which was nice. It had a strong rosemary flavour and it had a lot of shredded cheese. The potatoes were sliced fairly thin, and the texture varied. Some were a little tougher, crispier like chips, or soft. Overall, I think it could he worth a try but there are cheaper pizzas I enjoy

The best margarita pizza I’ve ever had in North America. It tastes exactly like authentic Italian pizza, even better with thin crust. Highly recommend

After hearing the buzz about Serious Pie for years, I finally had to try it out. Honestly, I had forgotten I visited here on my first trip to Seattle back in 2017! Clearly, I have grown over the years by the change in my review!

So recently I've tried both take-out and dine-in, and my conclusion: take-out was a bust. The pizza just lost its magic on the ride home. The crust wasn't as crisp, and the flavors didn't pop in the same way.

The experience dining in at the downtown restaurant was night and day. The smell of the fire, coupled with the busy, fast-moving environment, created a fantastic atmosphere.

The real star of the show is the Penn Cove Clam Pizza. The combination of salty clams, savory pancetta, and a hint of lemon thyme on that perfectly charred crust is a truly spectacular flavor combination. This is a pizza that demands to be eaten fresh, right out of the oven, with the crust still blistered and the toppings steaming.

I'm giving Serious Pie 4 out of 5 stars because it is a bit pricey, but for the dine-in experience, it's absolutely worth every penny. Just do yourself a favor and plan to dine in.

It's only pizza and salad, don't expect anything else for food! But the food is very very very good! Got the blueberry pizza, average price for a 12-inch pizza and that's the only size they have is around 30 bucks. So it is pricey but it is Gourmet pizza, highly recommend the blueberry pizza and the ranch was an acquired taste, they use their Pizza seasoning in their Ranch. Their Pizza seasoning is very good, ended up buying that from the counter! Again no vegan options, my dad is vegan and they can't do pizza without cheese but there is no vegan cheese available. But there is a bakery inside so my dad was able to get avocado toast with fried chickpeas and he said that was extremely good. Highly recommend, we had Nicholas as our server and he was a good kid.

Nice place, great service. Amazing tomato soup, salad tasty although pepperoni seemed unnecessary.

Pizza a bit disappointing. Tasty toppings but overloaded so a soggy bottom but with the crust a bit on the dry side.

Food is great as usual however I find the options very limited. Would be nice if they had other meat options for their pizzas. This location is very noisy and the general area in the city is always surrounded by troubled people at night.

As always the pizza pies at Serious are amazing! Sauce has a rich flavor and the crust is the right level of crispness!! This trip I tried their Triple Coconut Cream Pie...OH MY!!! This is a must try if you like coconut cream pie, think you like coconut creme pie, or are wondering if you should try coconut cream pie (although once you try theirs, others may not measure up). Service is prompt and friendly. The downtown location has a great vibe...thanks again Serious Pie for making my Seattle visit more enjoyable!
