Our server was very patience and understanding that friend and I would like to take time to order since we were busy catching up. We were celebrating birthdays and were offered with a delicious grilled prawn appetizer on the house. What an amazing and delish surprise! The service was terrific and the ambiance of the restaurant was moody and evocative. The zero proof drinks were inspired. It was the food, though that really makes this place memorable The chef here is an inspired artist. Simple entries and appetizers that are more than the sum of their ingredients. I've never had better scallops. The fried mushrooms were so good too. I had their new dessert, a baklava tiramisu that was very interesting and delicious, though a few tweaks...

The breakfasts were really fantastic--especially the smoked salmon benedict. The dinners are quite pricey but good and creative. The server wouldn't let us order appetizers and then the entree, saying something about the kitchen being too small. That was odd. The servers at breakfast were excellent, but this one at dinner made it clear we had to play by her (unusual) rules.
