I love this spot! Had the chance to check it out for the first time this weekend. Atmosphere and design inside the place were top notch. We did the listening experience in the hi-fi room, which was so cool. Our guy running it was one of the owners and he was super nice and did a great job! They had just made some upgrades to the speakers in the last week or two and sound quality was incredible — My dad is definitely an audio snob and he approved. We had a wonderful time at Shibuya--a chic cocktail bar featuring a high fidelity vinyl DJ booth, and a separate HiFi room for reserved curated listening sessions. The session we attended was hosted by Dana Bamshad who led with background about the room, its shape and acoustics, and the story behind the amazing vintage Klipsch Klipschorn speakers, and even the fantastic light fixtures, originally from the Benaroya Hall's founders lounge. We were able to attend a listening party in Shibuya's HiFi room. Curated and narrated by Ed Maloney of the former Highway 99 Blues Club. Ed took us through Blues artists of Alligator Records. A fantastic listening experience! We encourage you to come in. We're going back!
