This was quite disappointing as we had high hopes for this restaurant after getting a recommendation. First. I'll start off by saying Jim was fantastic and we really enjoyed talking with him. The lemon drops were excellent and the hotel and restaurant had such a cool vibe. However, that is where the positives end. My wife ordered the salmon which comes with mashed potatoes. The salmon was poorly cooked, under-seasoned and had zero flavor. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese...
Shuckers was a delightful experience from the staff, through to dessert. Our waitress was Jelena - she was lovely. All of the food was delicious. We had Clam Chowder, Steamers, Oysters on the half shell, Caesar Salad, and the Black and Blue tart with sour cream ice cream. OMG - the sour cream ice cream is to die for!!! My husband really enjoyed the tart. Shuckers is a must-visit restaurant in Seattle.
Seriously underrated and under appreciated restaurant. Their original cocktails are superb. Although the food preparation may seem deceptively simple, it's always executed flawlessly, and they make the fresh seafood the star of the show. The waitstaff is quite knowledgeable, too. It's a great place for date night or to take guests from out of town who want to know what Seattle seafood is about
