Visited Seattle for MarchMadness and came across this black owned restaurant. Customer Service was great, food was delicious, and the ambiance was inviting and comfortable. We had Catfish & Grits and Shrimp & Grits all was amazing. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Great food, good music, the hostess/owner was so sweet and an AMAZING gentleman that worked there (unfortunately did not get his name) noticed my friend left her wallet on the table and literally RAN OUT INTO THE STREET as we were at a light right as we were about to turn off to return her wallet!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR YOU ARE AMAZING!! We WILL be back ☝🏽🙂↕️

I searched high and low for a good soul food place in Seattle and baby this ain’t it. I really need someone to go down south or come to the Midwest and learn how to cook soul food then come back and try again. I ordered all flats, paid extra, and got all drums except for one. The chicken was overcooked or they used old grease, cornbread was hard, greens gross, and I have never had shrimp and grits with zero flavor. Anywhom… the only decent thing was the Kool aid. I was excited to try this I really was but it’s a no for me.

It's a hit and miss with this place. I tried there meatloaf special about a week ago. It was great. A week later I order the same thing and it was so horrible 😫 I won't be going back. The mashed potatoes were liquid, the meat loaf looked like it was boiled with a gray tint to it, and the macaroni cheese had such an off taste to it that I was afraid I would get sick from it. There food quality is so very much inconsistent and portions as well. Sorry I won't be wasting my money on dog food no more

This establishment has a very nice atmosphere.. good music playing . It’s calm! But the food and service were a bit disappointing. The sides were hit or miss.. really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the yams were pretty good. The collards and black eyed peas are tasteless. The food overall was a bit unseasoned and bland. The fried chicken had no taste. Although we had a pretty neutral experience, I would likely choose a different soul food establishment on return to Seattle

One of my fave spots in the CD! The food is always on point and they do not skimp on the drinks lol. My favorite is their catfish so far. I say so far because I fully intend to eat my way through the whole menu eventually lol. It has a great community atmosphere and outdoor seating for warmer days so stop in for lunch or gather some friends for a chill meetup and great food!

Very disappointed because I put specific instructions to let me know if they did not have crab for the gumbo because I would just cancel the order I did not get a call and there was no gumbo at all and that was the whole point of the order, hints the note.
