buy the aahu barah rice, it’s the best i’ve ever tasted. get the twenty pound bag and take it home.the little grocery store up front is great, i can’t comment on the restaurant.
This is one of my top favorite African restaurants. When we had the snow storm a few years ago everywhere in the area was closed but they stayed open and it was made perfectly. I usually get the meat combo 2 and beef sambusa and the beef tibs and stew is so tender. They have good portions for the price and although they vary on the time it takes to prepare they are a family run black business that takes pride in the food they make. The observations and opinions of this experience, is mine and mine alone.Since Chef Café is no longer in business and I have seen the owner of the aforementioned Cafe in this restaurant, I tried it.It's not bad, it's not Baba's however is satisfies my craving for gomen and awaze lentils.The ladies preparing and serving the food have uplifting smiles and positive attitudes.I will definitely visit again.Parking: It's in the same area as walgreens and auto zone. Parking is competitive.
