Found this place on a whim on Memorial Day weekend. I will definitely be back anytime I visit Seattle! Chicken was amazing even without the sauces and our server Nova went and above and beyond to ensure our first visit was top notch! Get the greens and mac you won't be disappointed!
Amazing, fun, divey atmosphere that’s all too rare in Seattle these days. Amazing service. Fried chicken is obviously the star here, but it might be too heavily breaded, too heavily fried. It’s legit a little hard to eat. Pure southern sides are fun (hush puppies, collards, fried green tomatoes), but once you have a massive plate of fried chicken and fries in front of you the other stuff is too much. I will be back, but I’ll be splitting an entree.
The dark meat fried chicken sandwich is amazing. Yes, there’s a lot of breading, but I happen to like that style 😅 I got Nashville hot, which was the right amount of spice for me. And the mayo/aioli in the sando was the perfect finishing touch. The sides we got (cole slaw, mac) were unremarkable - when I go again, I’ll just get the sandwich. Overall, a great experience!
