This place is okay—definitely overhyped. The tacos are deep fried and about the size of the palm of your hand. They only have one meat option taco although they do have carnitas meat with the bowl, which the 'bowl' might as well have been nachos with what did not seem like freshly made guac on top. The margarita was great. Overall the food is fine, but greasy and not a substantial meal.
I’m a fan. Was just looking for something light so I tried their beef taco and cauliflower taco. Both yummy but nothing to write home about per se. Never had a taco fried shut like this before, kinda reminds me of a clamshell. Would love to try a burrito or something a bit more substantial next time.
We were super excited to try Situ Taco as we see it all the time while we’re visiting other retaurants and when we’re at the market so we made sure to carve up some time and pop in. It’s a funky looking little place, where you order at the counter and they tell you pretty much everywhere, that you need to take out those darn toothpicks before munching down loooool
