4 of us had a delicious dinner at Sophon. Though the prices look a wee bit high to start, the large portions make it a really good value in the end. We had the baby gem salad, 3 appetizers (kroeung (fried) chicken, p'set ang (mushrooms w/tomato relish & coconut), and k'tiss prahok dip with crudités) and one main (steak), and we all left full. The food was all delicious, and I'm just sorry we were too full to order any more of the appetizers! Most of the house...
Everything we ordered was delicious. Flavorful, fresh and nicely sized. For a group of four we shared 3 starters and 2 mains. The eggplant with noodles and soy curds was a stand out.
The entire place was so warm, we went for my wife's birthday dinner in December, so it was frosty outside but as soon as we stepped in we lit up in more ways than one! Well heated, very soft and cozy colors/ decor. Packed and well-spaced, the staff were homey as well as gracious.
