A spontaneous meal was such a great surprise! This catfish was truly so flavorful and melted in my mouth. Plus the person working there (maybe the owner?) was so kind and friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try more things off the menu. This isn’t a fancy place, but it doesn’t need to be. The food and service speaks for itself.
I was craving a catfish po-boy while I was waiting for my next md appt. I found Soulful Dishes on Google. I am from Atlanta and it is very hard to find good southern food in Seattle. I ordered the po-boy with a side of potato salad. I wish that the person behind the counter had of been more welcoming. I got the sandwich and salad. The catfish was perfect! The breading was just like home. I was missing a spicier dressing on it, but overall the catfish won out and I give it a 4.7....
I was recommended the catfish and fries and it was amazing ! Hot, crispy and tender fish and soft, home style seasoned fries made for a great dinner. They were so kind to return my forgotten bottle too. There are other delicious looking things on the menu I’ll be back try.
