Kind of pricey, very noisy, but the view is nice (half obstructed by other buildings) and the food is good. It's in the middle of a major tourist destination, so a high headcount and somewhat inflated prices are to be expected.
Not only does this place have a beautiful view of the sound, the customer service was excellent. The food was also great! It took about 5 minutes for the food to get out on a busy, sunny, pike place Saturday. The food was well seasoned, and tasted incredibly fresh!! I’d recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice lunch or dinner spot in the heart of pike place!
Sound View Cafe is a solid Pike Place stop with one of the best waterfront views of Elliott Bay.
I had the breakfast sandwich—simple, fresh, and well executed. Service was quick despite the busy location.
