Our first trip to Pike Market today and we found this great place for a sit down lunch with a great view. The food was really great. We got the Chicken burger, clam chowder and pizza grilled cheese. The service was so great. Everyone was so nice.
We enjoyed an exceptionally good breakfast here. It’s located right in the busiest tourist part of Seattle and we were worried about getting in but it’s a little bit hidden and although it was busy we found a seat and it didn’t take long to get our food. Very nice view of the water too.
By far, the best shrimp cocktail I've ever had. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, fresh, tender, and succulent. The house made cocktail sauce was chef's kiss perfect with just the right balance of salt, fat, acid, heat, and sweet. We should have gotten two orders! Special shout out to Aundrea who is a wonderful jane-of-all-trades at Sound View Cafe. Do read the signs in the cafe and follow the instructions. Definitely trust the process.
