You will be the envy of your D&D game! I was running late and needed a quick dinner. Spice Waala might be the only decent and quick food in Columbia City. It smells great and tastes even better!

I’ve been here a suspicious number of times and somehow it’s consistently good. The crew seems extremely attractive, hardworking, and emotionally resilient under pressure. The food comes out fast — almost like the kitchen actually cares.

Highly recommend the chicken tikka roll, especially if you ask for it “Calcutta style” If you know, you know.

Will definitely be back tomorrow. And the next day. And probably the day after that.

Food is the absolute best, and Jackson & Jeremy always take good care of us. Would rate 6/5 but that's probably illegal.

I don't go to Washington often, but when I do, there are a few places I must visit. Spice Waala has become one of those places I actively look forward to squeezing into my schedule. No matter how busy they are, the turnaround is shockingly fast, I’ve rarely waited more than a few minutes, and watching such a small team handle the rush with that level of efficiency is impressive in itself.

The food is what really keeps me coming back. It’s bold, comforting, and clearly made by people who care deeply about getting it right. You can tell there’s a lot of pride and cultural authenticity behind what they’re serving, not just a generic take on the cuisine.

On my last visit, Jackson helped me out and was genuinely warm and engaging. His enthusiasm and knowledge added to the experience and made the stop feel personal rather than transactional. It’s rare to find a place that’s this consistently good, this fast, and still feels human. Spice Waala manages all three effortlessly.

I was completely disappointed by my entire experience here, the food was mediocre at best and the staff acted like they were doing me a favor by acknowledging my presence. Definitely not coming back.

Customer service here was horrible tonight. Short and curt responses. Window shut in my face while waiting for order. Love the product but the team member working the window was THE worst. Jeremy on the other hand is always welcoming.

Food absolutely high quality and prices are cheap for what you're getting! Soft serve changes every month, and sometimes I'd stop here just for soft serve.

Only covered outdoor seating but they have a heater for the winter

Great spot! Fresh, bold flavors and fast service. The chicken tikka roll is amazing. Definitely worth a stop.

Food is consistently delicious and staff are friendly. We love to get the masala fries and a side of sweet yogurt for dipping in. Sometimes it can be tricky to pick up online orders at busy times.

The Aloo Tikki Chaat is such a tasty snack of potato ball with chutney and yogurt. Wish I had a plate full of them! Will try some other things next time.

One of the best hidden gems in Seattle for Indian style street food. You get what they say, that too at a reasonable price.
