Went tonight for dinner and had the chefs tasting menu. For a party of 4 we paid $550 for cold pea soup, a romaine salad with tomato and radish, oysters that tasted like a dirty fryer, and bread. We said we did not enjoy the pea soup and the solution was …another cold soup… Wine pairing also did not compliment the dishes. The pasta dishes however were phenomenal and service was great.
This place was great. The service was amazing, and most importantly the food was delicious. We had chefs course which was $85 per person and it was a lot of food. We had multiple appetizers two pasta dishes steak as main course and 3 different desserts. They were also very accommodating to dietary restrictions. I think the course is worth the money.
Food was solid, but for a mostly empty restaurant, the food took way too long.
The strengths are most definitely the pasta dishes, they had the perfect bite, and came out hot piping hot. While the halibut was nicely crisped, it was disappointing that it was lukewarm in comparison.
