Yes, this is the number one Starbucks you want to visit. We waited for about 15 minutes before getting in. They have a system that works well, and the baristas do an amazing job being friendly and kind in the midst of it all. One of them told me they sometimes felt like a bouncer, which was quite funny. They have their unique merch, and you can use your Starbucks app and the stars to buy them! I got their signature "bearista" using 400 stars. The place feels very touristy, obviously, but it was a fun experience. One of the baristas kindly offered to take photos of us, and I'm very thankful for their kind gesture.

I had the Heritage Market Exclusive Spiced Orange White Mocha. It was an absolute winner.

Starbucks original store
Even though I arrived at 6:30 in the morning, I still had to wait in line for nearly 20 minutes. It was a bit cool in September in Seattle, and the slightly bitter iced American style... MDFK should order hot. I didn't expect that Seattle would be so cold in the rainy morning.
The store has a dazzling array of mugs and tumblers that make little hands want to buy some of them. The mugs are NT750/piece. After all, it’s the original store...it’s okay to be more expensive.
The founding store is close to Pike Place Market and the Chewing Gum Wall, which can be reached within walking distance.
It doesn’t matter whether the coffee tastes good or not, the original store just tastes good. Tweet?

Nothing substantial about this Starbucks vs others. Make sure you go early to avoid the line!

A must stop if you're visiting Pike Place Market and want to check out the first Starbucks with their original logo. Of course, the coffee is great too.

Avoid Starbucks. Terrible service. At Starbucks in the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas I've paid two drinks for my children by Visa card. The payment 24.81 dollars didn't work... so we paid by cash.
“No worry, we cancel your card payment,” they said after a quick call to the manager. But their card reader finally recorded our payment; we discovered it on our bank statement when back home. 45+ dollars for two small drinks... Nothing else than theft. And the Customer Care team contacted by chat, phone and email is unable to find a solution since weeks to reimburse us. Worst client experience ever. (CS10000586)

It is symbolic as it is the first Starbucks and many tourists visit. It is less crowded in the late afternoon.

On its own, it is just a very small Starbucks with very little room inside and a few shelves of items. But for true coffee lovers, you can't visit Seattle without seeing the original little coffee kiosk that started the American coffeeshop commercial explosion.

Really, just an unassuming coffee kiosk shop. They left the well worn wood, shingle signs, and a lot of old original packages in the rafters for fun. I'm an early riser and walked right in when they opened. By the time the market opens, the line can get fairly long. Seems to be shorter closer to closing time again. You can't skip a visit when in Seattle.

A fun visit to see where it all started. Line was long but moved quickly, ended up only being 30 minutes.

This is the original store. It’s very busy. There is always a long line outside. No different than other Starbucks. Just an iconic store.

Amazing Experience. Visiting the first Starbucks was a bucket list experience for me. I have dreamed about it forever. I have cancer, and travelling kills me. But, It was beyond amazing. It's a tiny location and it is run so well. They only let in a few people at a time. All the logos and merch are the original design. The staff knew how excited I was. I took all the selfies with my Starbucks ears and bearista I brought with me for the occasion. The wonderful staff presented me with a special brew they all signed. I couldn't believe this was even happening, I am in complete awe. The kindness blew me away. I cried forever after. They made me feel so loved. They even took a selfie with me. And the Barista who served me ( I blacked out when trying to remember her name) even gave me a hug. I cannot express how grateful I am. Also, The merch was beyond beautiful and specific to this location.

I just took a photo in front of the store. The guide said that the line would take more than 45 minutes. It's definitely popular. By the way, the next morning, a member of my group said that when they arrived at 5:50, they were the first to arrive and were able to take lots of photos.
