Didn't allow me back in after midnight, I was unaware of this rule

Great small venue. See bands up close. Bar has beer and spirits. Food vendor out front. Outdoor seating in back.

Sinking season’s show there RULED ?

It was a bit unclear about the schedule for the events, and the sound stage and the space are not as big as expected, given the number of tickets sold for events. The event start time on the ticket is the door open time, and the first performance starts one hour after the door open time. We waited for 50 minutes to get in upon arriving at door open time. The drink selection is also pretty limited. Ordered a can of beer for $8.I would prefer to have a clearer instruction/detail on the ticket’s page, but still a decent place if you have any interested performances here.

Location is great, bars are good, music is good. However, the show on Mar 16th, 2024 had no re-entry after 11 PM. What is this, a daycare? There doesn't seem to be a reasonable excuse for this. Let people come and go as they please. I bought my ticket, let me back in when I want.

Substation has quickly become my favorite club in Seattle. Bookings are always great, multiple rooms is always awesome, and in my experience the people that come here are really about the music. Location is super chill.

Very unique space tucked away in an area one wouldn't expect to have a club. The sound quality was great and with different stages, it felt like there was a lot of room to move around and dance.I found the atmosphere to be welcoming and people were wearing all kinds of clothes. There were multiple bars, which made getting a drink easy.

I had a wonderful time. Saw three different edm artists, it was packed, but didn't feel cramped in terms of space. The visuals, both the screen behind the artist and the lights were stunning and very fun to look at. The acoustics were great. I tend to wear earplugs when I go to shows (especially edm shows), I did to this one as well. Everything sounded great and I had a blast. I'd recommend bringing ear protection, as it was extraordinarily loud, but that is not a critique, it's loud for a reason. All in all, a wonderful spot. Staff and people were friendly and nice, would go again!
