Went to Substation for a Saturday night show and had a solid time. The venue is small and had an interesting stage setup. However there were several bars, better than average bathrooms, and I was not hot at all during the show. Would go back!
Loved the venue. Felt the bouncers were a bit rude. It wasn’t clearly advertised that this is a 21+ venue so saw a lot of people being turned away at the door. The policy in itself not up for debate, but it needs to be more publicised when the tickets are on sale etc.

Even though it's not the most bougie venue/bar in Seattle, there is a lot of charm in it's DIY-esque vibe. I'm not a drinker so I can't comment on how good the bar is. I've been here a few times as a patron as well and never once felt like anyone else in the crowd was a threat.
