The rebuilt Colman dock is easy. The staff is helpful. Coffee shop is in the passenger load area. Nice selection of items.

Colman Dock is a well-received destination, praised for its exceptional staff, particularly the dock and ferry crews. The atmosphere is friendly and efficient, with a well-structured layout that makes navigation a breeze. The recent renovation has improved the experience, creating a nice facility with plenty of room and seating, including 120v and USB receptacles available in the seating area. Restrooms are large, clean, and well-stocked, contributing to a positive experience.
The elevated platform of the ferry terminal is a thoughtful design that helps keep the area safe and prevents loitering. State police are on site and on vessels, enhancing the feeling of safety. While the Seattle-Bremerton route still has a lengthy schedule between sailings, the overall experience remains pleasant for daily commutes or longer trips, such as the fast ferry to Bremerton. A tip for travelers is to buy tickets for the return trip upon arrival to avoid lines when leaving. The new layout makes Colman Dock a great place to be, and the improvements have made walks to nearby attractions, such as the ballpark, enjoyable.
