Awful management experience on 03/16!!! Experience someone thrown out due to being overly intoxicated, granted that is a personal responsibility, there was no consideration for this HUMAN, he was treated as if he was less then in every way possible and when brought to management I was told they don’t care, security on staff that threw said gentleman tried to fight me because I was concerned for this gentleman’s well being. Got in my face with his awful mom (whom I think is the manager, other wise she just input her self for no reason) Would never return!! Hosted event or just the bar itself

I was disappointed to see a service charge of 22% when my bill came. This is applied to all parties regardless of their size. 4% goes to the owner and 18% goes to the server, this is a crime. I didn't tip but would have paid 22% directly to the server had this charge not been applied. I went at a non busy time and was a single person. Food is great and the place is cool tho 🤷♂️ hope they remove the service charge, it would make sense to apply this to parties of +8 but not to a single diner 😕 Makes me sad since I would have liked to frequent this place for the Hainanese Chicken Rice 🍚
If the business is suffering because of increased inflation and wage rise, they should cover this via menu item price increase. The owner mentions that 4% is taken from the server tip to cover wages.. So they are garnishing tips to cover wages. Again the business should increase menu item price to cover these costs and let the tip be a tip based on service, not inflation.

I asked my bf what he would say in this review “10/10 every time.” The pad see ewe and pad khee moa are consistently delicious, and thus we come back often. Fun atmosphere of records and street art. Can you spot the street lights? Check out the patio in the summer. Great food.

Also, when you pay through the QR code, you get a mandatory newsletter sign up and you cannot opt out.
This ruins the vibe of your business more than what you gain by doing stuff like this. I want to directly tip your employee, not contribute to some business managed fund.

The food was too sweet. The server did not inform me that the bill already included a 22% service charge, so I ended up paying an extra tip. If the service had been good, I wouldn't have left a comment, but the server only came to my table twice, once to take my order and once to give me the check. I was really disappointed with both the food and the service.
