Quite possibly the worst bathroom in Seattle. Gives the underground tour a run for its money but atmosphere and service is absolutely A1. Best Guinness pour in seattle(they have an award confirming) and great vibes. Oxymoronic given the bathroom rating, but try their chili. Delicious.
With its peaked-wood ceiling, wood panel booths and winter sport décor, Sully’s Snowgoose Saloon in Phinney Ridge feels like you’ve stepped into a chalet in the Alps. The original bar, La Boehme opened in 1934, making one of the oldest bars in Seattle. It became Sully’s in 1995. I asked the bartender what was good, she suggested a Sully-Dog. I gladly accepted the recommendation. The large polish dog came on a hoagie roll with sauerkraut, chopped onions, mustard and relish....

We were somewhere around 61st Street, screeching through the gloom of a Seattle drizzle, when the thirst began to take hold. Not the polite, dry-mouthed thirst of a man who missed his tea time, but a deep, lizard-brain panic—a clawing, desperate need for sanctuary in a world gone mad with plastic condos and tech-bro fascism.
