Great place. Went for a date with my husband and was very impressed. This place is a hidden gem! Easily got a reservation on a week night and I thought the food was very comparable to other higher end restaurants like Archipelago. I am pregnant and they easily made delicious substitutions and were very intentional about making sure I ate the right one. Staff was personable and warm. Got some cute little bouquets too from chef’s mom’s garden.

Surrell is a beautiful and intimate space, and from the moment we arrived it was clear how much care goes into the experience. The service was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely warm; everyone did their best to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.

Fantastic experience in May! Enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and the staff! I had the privilege to sit at the bar and interact with the chefs and the owner. The food and Washington wine pairings were fantastic. The attention to detail regarding the menu and flower bouquet were nice touches, which you don’t see at other restaurants.
