I got a to-go order from Sushi Ave in Chinatown. The sushi itself was pretty good — fresh and tasty — but the service could use some improvement. I ordered six rolls, and they only gave me three packets of soy sauce and no chopsticks. Small details like that really matter, especially for takeout.

Absolutely a hidden gem for fresh, AFFORDABLE sushi in Seattle. Their specialty rolls are so tasty, with unique combos that they change up seasonally. Love the Energy roll (mango is fire in sushi!) Validated parking garage with lots of spots, making this an easy spot for a quick bite or takeout.

Unassuming hidden gem. Incredible value for high-quality sushi. Prices are very fair. The sushi box sets and the chirashi are particularly good deals. Cuts are generously thick, fresh, and flavorful. Been eating here for years and am still impressed every time.

I was recovering from surgery and accidentally ordered pickup instead of delivery and there was no way I could drive down to pick up the food so the owner delivered the order to me himself! Very thoughtful.
