Moldy pastry
Amazing bread comparable with bakeries in Japan.

I’ll go as often as I can financially because I want this bakery to stay. It’s so good. Everything is fresh and the place is super clean. The napoleon looks incredible lol. Really amazing. I had picked out chocolate almond cookies before I saw the rest. When I was checking out I saw they had coffee. I got a large americano for 4.75 and the gentleman at the register asked if I wanted a discounted sweet bun made that morning. I took that. Very reasonable. 13 for a big bag of cookies and the coffee and bun. I hope they succeed. It’s an excellent bakery. The bags the packaging. It’s all very nice.

I bought a 10 dollar loaf but when I cut it when I got home, it has some alcohol smell definitely taro in it has gone bad. No idea how long this loaf has been sitting there!

Such a cute little bakery! The pastries are so cheap compared to other bakeries in the Seattle area. Not only that but they’re absolutely delicious! The Mexican sweet bun is so insanely delicious. The bread itself is so soft and literally melts in your mouth. The hot chocolate is so perfectly sweet and perfect for a chilly Seattle day! Will definitely be coming back :)

Pastries are all very good and relatively cheap definitely worth if you want to pick up a quick sweet treat. Bread was nice and fluffy. Red bean green tea rice balls were also very good.

This bakery had big shoes to fill (in the location of the former 85C), and unfortunately disappointed across the board. From the mediocre hot dog buns to the vegetable/pork buns with way too high of a bread-to-meat ratio, to the relatively stale pineapple buns. They need to try harder to at least match the quality of grocery stores like T&T, or find better sources for their goods.

both the cream puff and the pork bun tasted slightly artificial and too sweet. texture of the bun dough was perfect though

Loved the pineapple breads.
Not sure what some other reviews are talkong about, the staff were all very polite. Also you basically pick out our breads and go to the counter, so some of the other reviews about service don't really make sense

The cake was moldy😭
My boyfriend and I had been speculating if a business was actually going into this location or not, and today on the street car… I saw it. Open at last!
We got a curry beef bun, pineapple bun, a pork floss rolled bun (not what it was called), some kind of rice ball I don’t know the name of, and a coconut bun. My boyfriend picked them up, so I didn’t get a chance to go into the store itself to see names.
Everything was great! I sometimes feel let down by pillowy looking pastries that appear soft and end up dry- these were perfect. The dough was perfectly salted, light, fluffy, and not dry at all.
The curry beef was my favorite, though I wish it wasn’t in a plastic bag! It made it a bit damp due to condensation. However… I’m going to get it again. It was good, even if it was a bit wet.
Everything was between $2-$4, we spent about $20 total for 6 items. The buns are sizable!
We will definitely be going back regularly. Great price, good quality, cute packaging.
