I was never a salad gal until I discovered Sweetgreen. The Caramelized Steak is my ultimate favorite. I usually go to the Cap Hill location with the self-order kiosks, but I was a little lost at the SLU one. Jordan and Izzy were immediately welcoming and helped me out. Jordan even asked how my day was going. I ended up venting about stress and plans while he made my salad (probably overshared, oop). Some might call it customer service, but I’d call it a genuine human connection — even if it only lasted a few minutes

I recently ordered a meal and mistakenly ordered it for pickup. I immediately called to cancel but Sweetgreen said that 1 minute was too late to cancel because it was an ASAP order. Then I had to wait 2 hours for my reorder to be delivered although that was an ASAP order. When I complained to customer service all I kept getting was automated responses saying they understand how frustrated I must be feeling. Terrible customer service. Just salad for me from now on.
