This place should be called “Booger Tacos” The dirtiest place to get tacos in Seattle Nothing whets the appetite like climbing pee-scented stairs into a building that looks like it hasn’t met a mop since the dawn of time. The food itself was aggressively mid, but the real flavor came from the open-kitchen experience I did not consent to. Watching the cook blow his nose and casually wipe it on his shirt—no mask, no shame—really added a bold, mucus-forward note to the atmosphere. Nothing pairs quite like tacos and the lingering thought of “Should I call my doctor or just pray?” The vibe was less street food and more street immunity challenge. I kept waiting for handwashing to make a cameo, but it never showed up. Seattle has too many amazing taco spots for me to play roulette with my digestive system. If you enjoy your meals served with a side of second-guessing your life choices, this might be your place. I, however, will be taking my business—and my appetite—literally anywhere else. Would not recommend. 🌮😬
Omg!! The Nopales - cactus based quesedilla was mind blowing.
How come I never found this place before.

The namesake tacos (“Tacos Chukis”) were all I tried, and they were absolutely delicious.
Delicious tiny tacos that taste of Mexico. Always a treat and fast/friendly service.

I was really excited to try Taco Chukis, but unfortunately, the meat in both tacos I tried was slightly overcooked and very dry, which affected the flavor and texture. The portions were also quite small.

The adobada is out of this world, one of the best tacos I've had in Seattle. The asada was a bit tough. The food is all relatively cheap and of good quality.
The restaurant is located inside of a larger complex on the second floor. It was really busy when we went so it was difficult to find seating.
Definitely worth a visit, and highly recommend the adobada!

I went to Tacos Chukis in Seattle expecting great tacos, not to be treated like an inconvenience. The customer service was honestly some of the worst I’ve experienced in the city. The staff barely acknowledged customers, communication was non-existent, and the wait times were long with zero updates — you just stand there hoping they remember you exist.

It's nice that they are very clear that even their guacamole has dairy, but the bean and nopale offerings just do not constitute a real option, though you can tell their salsas are excellent. You CAN eat here if your friends insist on going, it just sucks to do so.

Went on a Saturday night for dinner and it wasn’t too hard to get a table. Really liked their Veg Mulitas.
