This is a landmark restaurant that Been here in Seattle since 1935, I grew up in North Seattle so I didn’t really get a chance to come to Chinatown that much when I was younger but I remember I ate here probably for the first time in 2008 with my dad, And now that I’ve been staying in Capitol Hill for The last nine months I came here 2 times Recently and the service is beyond good. The owner’s daughter is really friendly I always have a good conversation...
Food is mediocre in my opinion. Best thing i ordered were the wings and they were only ok. Very few tiny shrimp in the egg foo yun which was overcooked on the outside for my taste. The spareribs were boneless not my favorite and dry. The eggroll and egg foo yung had a ton of cabbage and not much else. Generous portions if that’s your thing.
Food was delicious, drinks were strong, and the service was excellent. The egg rolls are massive, full of veggies and meat, and served with a sweet brown sauce. Hot and sour soup was a banger. Chicken wings were perfectly fried and juicy. Grabbed a Singapore Sling and that was tasty too, and a haymaker.
