This was a great find when browsing the area for bfast early on a wkend. Tucked in ChopHouse Alley in Capitol Hill, I just happened to drop in early enough where long lines and noisy crowds were avoided. Service was great, pets are welcome, and everything was mostly self-serve with no tipping at the register - a nice relief esp when you're expected to bus and clean your own table. Super cute coffee shop in the back of an atrium. The cafe has good seating, but you can also sit out in the courtyard when the weather's nice. They used to have a bike shop in back, but it moved, though the bicycle theme persists.
I’m giving 5 stars in the food category for the marvelous cocktails and coffee. The food menu was tempting (a Caprese sandwich! A Croque Monsieur!) but I’d already had lunch. Next time—
