We are indeed regulars here. The food is superb and healthy! Blackened fish and blackened salmon are our favorites. We should probably try other items. The drinks, you will want literally every single one on the menu. We have had them and they are all delicious and nutritious! Very friendly and relaxing and even romantic atmosphere.

Needed some quick takeout for lunch today so stopped into Taproot for the first time. They had a hot italian sandwich on the specials menu so I ordered that and the woman told me it would be about 10 minutes so I went for a short walk and came back and my sandwich was ready. IT WAS DELICIOUS and I hope it becomes a staple on the menu - really good cuts of meat with olives, a few cherry tomatoes on a really good bun. Will definitely come back here. Only suggestion is it would be nice to have some paper menus instead of a QR code that brings you to the website.

Eat here! This place is fantastic. We really enjoyed our dinner here last night. Upon entering, It looks like a dimly lit, unassuming little local bar. But the dinner menu shows some real talent. We had a crab bisque, a beet & orange supreme salad, prosciutto and olives, eggplant parmigiana, braised short ribs and a house made lemon tart for dessert! OMG! I don’t even need to say “house-made” because everything there is. It is also notable that this place is owner-operated and the owner himself was cooking our dinner. Rumor has it that he has experience cooking in some of the most notable restaurants in Seattle such as Le Pichet and Steelhead Diner. You can tell just by looking at the menu and wine list..

A quaint little place. Very dark inside. The waiter was nice. We were there on a Sunday at 2 pm. We ordered two pastrami sandwiches. We weren't expecting fast food delivery, but the place only had one other table. It took over 25 minutes before we got our sandwiches. The sandwich was dry and lacking flavor and not much sauerkraut and horseradish. Normally a pastrami sandwich comes with a pickle on the side, but not this one. It came with a bag of chips. It looked like everything was just thrown on the plate.My pastrami sandwich crust was so hard I couldn't even break it. The meat was black on the edges. I showed the lady manager. She said it takes 8 minutes to cook it. Was offered no compensation for the sandwich. I won't be coming back to this restaurant.
