I love this place, maybe the best sandwich in Seattle and you can tell the owner has really put his soul into the place, which shows in the atmospheric lighting and good ambience as well as the care that’s put into the selection. I’m so happy they have gluten free options, and that they are so kind and great service is always guaranteed. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Taproot in Columbia City and ordered the curry chicken salad and Awakening smoothie. Unfortunately, the curry chicken salad did not meet my expectations. The meat was incredibly dry, making it difficult to enjoy and eat. On the other hand, the Awakening smoothie was just as expected, offering a standard smoothie experience. Both items cost about $27 before tax and tip. While my visit wasn't entirely satisfying, the atmosphere of the place was pleasant.
