Very friendly service and the food is bursting with flavor. It’s a hidden gem that is easy to miss, look for the light blue food truck/trailer in the Allstate parking lot. The portions are large enough to feed 2-3 adults. The chicken is absolutely delicious and the sauces add another level of flavor. Don’t miss this opportunity to taste Somalian cuisine.
Taste of Somalia catered our team’s Iftar at our company today, and the food was absolutely incredible.
We had rice with chicken and beef, and everything was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned. The salad was fresh and crisp, which complemented the meal really well. And the Biscoff cake was super good, definitely a standout.

Taste of Somalia is so good 🔥🔥 - I can’t say it loud enough.
The service is top notch. We had a lovely conversation with the owner and his cousin. We got chai on the house and they hooked it up with the sauces. We waited in the car and they delivered to our window. They used to open from 2-6pm(?) but changed their hours for Ramadan from 5-10pm to cater to their customers.
The rice is extremely flavorful. I could eat the rice alone...
