This is probably some of the best jerk chicken I’ve had!! The chicken fell right off the bone. And the rice and beans and salad all tasted really yummy.

I think this place is family owned so don’t expect the service to be crazy fast! Sometimes it’s nice to slow down and enjoy the experience. It felt very authentic.

Stopped in on Jamaica Patty Day 2025 and was very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. Jerk gravy/sauce was legendary, Red stripe was cold and refreshing, Patty was hot, flaky and rich and our server was incredibly warm and friendly.

Taste of the Caribbean delivers an authentic and unforgettable dining experience, and my recent meal of fried Parrot fish with rice and peas was nothing short of exceptional.
Everything was seasoned to exceptional!
This is a must visit spot if you’re craving an authentic and delicious Caribbean meal.

Previously I had the Curry Goat and Beef Patty which were very tasty. This includes the rice and peas, which were hearty and a good level of spicy.

But most recently, I had the Oxtail Stew and neither the meat nor the rice and peas had any aroma or flavor at all. I was worried I lost my sense of smell but when I asked for salt and hot sauce, I could smell and taste those as usual. At $25 before tax, I expect a lot more.

As a yaardie I can't recommend this place enough. The food was 11/10. The patty and coco bread is as good tastee served hot. The saltfish fritters were different but elevated still gave the traditional feel. The festivals were nice and soft and flavorful with spices you could taste from home.

Now unto the entrees had the fry snapper, jerk chicken and ackee+saltfish. The fish was supple and juicy. For $30 it was massive and worth it. The jerk chicken was authentic and absolutely falling off the bone. You can taste the smoke and seasoning all the way to the bone. The ackee and saltfish with refreshing and and delicious. It wasn't too salty or overdosed with seasoning and the fry dumplings stayed soft for the 30 minutes it took us to eat.

Chef Bigga and his staff has amazing talent for food and the staff was very friendly. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to try authentic Jamaican food, or looking for a taste of home..

Came here with my family, so we were able to taste a bit of almost everything. We had Patty and Coco bread, fried whole snapper with white rice, Ackee and Saltfish with fried dumplings, festivals, plantains, cod fish (saltfish) fritters, jerk chicken with rice and peas. EVERYTHING tastes authentic and AMAZING, so amazing that we ordered food to go. The staff is wonderful and pleasant to talk to. This restaurant is definitely on the top of my go to places, no questions asked.

Love it. I'm from the south where you could throw a stone and hit a restaurant that has culture. Great food.

I got the chicken curry, plantains, and a beef patty. The curry chicken had a good serving of rice, chicken and salad. The chicken was very tender and well seasoned. The plantains were also delicious. The beef patty was okay but I have had better

Edit: Its amazing you guys think it makes sense to have pictures of your entrees that don’t accurately represent how they come. Why would you have ‘white rice’ as a written description but not in the actual picture. Genuinely explain how that makes sense at all. I’ll help you - it doesn’t.

Why do meals come with white rice by default when EVERY SINGLE PICTURE SHOWS RICE AND PEAS as the entree? What’s PICTURED should be the default and it’s absolutely insane that it’s not.
