I enjoy spices that are able to be balanced with heat. Zobel; I have likened you to food chemist catering to my pallete and appetite.
I ordered the veggie combo and my friend chose another route. I enjoyed my dish with gratitude and he loved the flavors as-it-was, the first time being introduced to Ethiopian food. Zobel Ethiopian Cuisine is an interesting place that serves very good and flavorful food. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including Shiro wot, kitfo, and lamb dishes, which are all delicious and freshly prepared. The lamb yebeg tibs is a favorite among regulars, and the mixed veggie and meat platter is excellent for sharing. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable, making it a nice choice for a meal. However, the restaurant's ambiance could use some improvement, as it can appear a bit run down and unkempt, especially when it's empty. Despite this, the unique decor, which includes a bike shop-like area, adds to the restaurant's charm. With its tasty food and friendly service, Zobel Ethiopian Cuisine is definitely worth a visit.
