1st time ordering pickup from here. Tried the jerk chicken with rice & peas and salad. My partner had Curry chicken which was supposed to have white rice and salad (but they received rice and peas), and salad. This was a problem b/c they're allergic to legumes (any dried beans). However all the food was great! Not overly spicy allowing the Jamaican flavors to shine! (it was our decision not to drive back to correct the rice & peas mistake). Also had the plantains...
Incredible food. Seriously. Highly recommend the jerk chicken wings which are falling off the bone tender, full flavor with a really good heat to them. The jerk pork with rice and peas is a true comfort meal. So delicious. The place is no frills, all vibes. I'm just mad at myself for not eating here sooner.
Best jerk chicken in Seattle. Staff is always courteous and respectful. And did I say the food is AMAZING!
