I will never understand how I can order $70 worth of croissants and the person helping me never make eye contact, not even once. Every time I go in I spend over $50 and always leave feeling unwelcome, I don’t understand it. The food slaps, like best bakery in town imo, I’m just hoping the service decides to join the party one of these days.

These pastries are art, this bakery is truly a temple of high craft. I stumbled across Christina Wood's book at the local library. I leafed through some pages and was impressed by the technique and pictures. I thought this baker seems to know what's up. I came to the bakery and realized the book doesn't even do justice to how good this place is.

My best friend resides a couple of blocks away and we had the pleasure of enjoying the delicacies from this establishment on a Thursday morning before a flight.

As you walk in you are greeted by the warm smell of fresh baked bread with butter. While waiting in line one can only anticipate the taste of rich fresh pastries and a warm beverage. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and pastries to share which didn't disappoint. Our favorite was the kouign-amann.
